The Irish Sports Council (ISC), which is funded by the Department, is the statutory body with responsibility for the development of sport, increasing participation at all levels and raising standards, including the allocation of funding to sports bodies. The ISC does not provide direct funding for sports organisations but channels the funding through the relevant National Governing Body of sport, in this case the Football Association of Ireland (FAI). I would suggest that the club contact the FAI directly in this regard.

The Sports Capital Programme which is also run by the Department is responsible for the distribution of grants for capital projects and the purchase of non-personal sports equipment. The 2015 round of the SCP is closed for applications. Details on the SCP can be found on the Department's website www.dttas.ie/sport/english/sports-capital-programme.
