562. Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Health if his Department or agencies under the authority of his Department have performed an assessment of the potential savings to be accrued, if current paper-based application processes by members of the public were replaced with a fully online application system; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department does not routinely operate application processes.

I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly in respect of the application processes that it operates. If you have not received a reply from the HSE within 15 days please contact my Private Office and they will follow up the matter with them.
