Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the cost in 2013 and 2014 of issuing hardcopy payslips to staff or retired staff by his Department and agencies under the control of his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerIn 2013 and 2014 approximately 10% of staff in my Department were issued with hard copy payslips at an estimated annual cost of €4,300. My Department is scheduled to move to Payroll Shared Services in July 2016, which should see the remaining staff move to electronic payslips. Information in this regard in respect of bodies under the aegis of my Department is a matter for the body concerned.
