Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport given that figures are not available online, if he will provide a figure for the number of applications under the Sports Capital Programme 2015; the total value of grant aid sought; the corresponding figures by county; the budget available for such projects; his plans to announce the allocation of funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A fund of €40 million is available for Sports Capital Programme allocations. I expect to make allocations later this year. The specific information sought by the Deputy is set out in the table.  These figures are subject to change until the assessment process is completed as some organisations may withdraw their applications.
