Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the total cost of public advertising, statutory and non-statutory, funded by her Department in 2013 and 2014; the corresponding figure for agencies under the control of her Department; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection

The total cost of advertising for my Department was €220,865.39 and €162,660.58, for 2014 and 2013 respectively.

With regard to agencies under the aegis of the Department, the total cost of advertising was €74,900.83 and €201,067.03, for 2014 and 2013 respectively.
