784. Deputy Eoghan Murphy asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the current and planned future funding for the National Transport Museum of Ireland; if she will consider moving the museum to a more central location; and if she will allocate funds to fix a leak in the roof which is causing vehicles to be damaged. My Department has no role regarding, and does not provide funding to, the National Transport Museum of Ireland.

However, I understand that officials from the National Museum of Ireland and my Department have met with representatives from the National Transport Museum of Ireland to discuss issues in relation to the Transport Museum.
