633. Deputy Fergus O'Dowd asked the Minister for Education and Skills the number of primary teachers and secondary teachers who have qualified each year since 2010; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [36085/15]

Since 2006 the Teaching Council is the body with statutory authority for registration of teachers in the State.

I have asked the Teaching Council to provide the information requested directly to the Deputy.
