Deputy Barry Cowen asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the number of draft section 31 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 directives issued by his Department; the number of draft directives that were amended, deleted and implemented after the local authority manager's report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerSince 2004, 24 Draft Directions under Section 31 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 have been issued to local authorities in respect of their development planning functions as outlined in the table below.
There have been no amendments or deletions on any draft directions following the publication of the Chief Executives' reports.
