Deputy Eoin Ó Broin asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he will offer compensation from the local government fund in 2017, as was offered in 2016; the amount he will offer, by local authority, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have not yet made any decisions concerning 2017 allocations from the Local Government Fund. Such decisions will be taken in the context of Budget 2017 and the Estimates process.
