Deputy Shane Cassells asked the Minister for Education and Skills the status of the processing of the brief formulation document and schedule of accommodation for a school (details supplied) following the board of management's meeting with his Department on 18 February 2016; when he will commence the next stage, given the complexity of the work; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe Deputy will be aware that a building project for the school to which he refers was included in the Department's 6 Year Capital Programme announced last November. The project is being progressed with a view to proceeding to tender / construction in 2017, as outlined in the programme.
My Department is currently finalising the project brief and once this process is complete, the project will be progressed into the architectural planning process.
