331. Deputy Eoin Ó Broin asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government the composition of the projected capital investment spend by Irish Water for 2018-2021, as per the Irish Water business plan; and the portion which is expected to come from Exchequer funding, Government borrowing, equity or debt financing, in tabular form. Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government

Irish Water’s capital investment in the period 2018-2021 will be funded by a mix of debt and equity (including capital transfers from Government). Its investment programme for the period 2018-21 will be subject to review by the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER), and Government funding will be subject to future budgetary decisions.
