92. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to the Second Stage debate on school admission legislation, if he will provide a progress report on the new school building programme for schools (details supplied). [39332/16]
View answerThe Deputy will be aware that building projects for the schools in question are included in my Department's 6-Year Construction Programme (2019/21). My Department is aware of the schools accommodation needs and will be liaising with both schools in the context of progressing the projects into the architectural planning process. A suitable site has been identified for the first named school referred to by the Deputy and the acquisition process is underway. A proposed site has also been identified for the second named school.
