I propose to take Questions Nos. 295 and 296 together.

The Ministerial Air Transport Service (MATS) provides the Government and the President with an independent, flexible and effective air transport service to assist in meeting national and international obligations. Details of use of the MATS by Ministers are published by the Depar tment of Defence at www.defence.ie.

Since the establishment of my Department in 2011, use has been made of the MATS on five occasions, details of which are set out in the following table:
