428. Deputy Bobby Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason for the delay in reaching a decision for a TAMS II application lodged by a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [40547/16]

The person named applied for a grant under the Young Farmers Capital Investment Scheme.  The application has passed all checks and a letter of approval issued on 14 December 2016.
