469. Deputy Eamon Scanlon asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will expedite the process of an oral hearing in the case of a person (details supplied); when the hearing might take place; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [41002/16]
View answerThe Agriculture Appeals Office has confirmed that an appeal from the person named was received on 22 November 2016. The file and a statement on the appeal were requested from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine which has confirmed that the documents will shortly be received by the Agriculture Appeals Office. On receipt of the Department file and statement, the appeal will be immediately assigned to an Appeals Officer who will make direct contact with the person named regarding the scheduling of the oral hearing.
