Deputy John Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the amount spent during 2016 by his Department and by each named public body under his Department’s remit on legal services, by reference to each firm or individual engaged, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The information requested by the Deputy in relation to the expenditure on legal services during  2016, for this Department, is outlined in the following table.

In relation to the State Bodies, under the aegis of this Department, the information requested is an operational matter for the State Bodies themselves and they have been requested to forward the relevant information directly to the Deputy as soon as possible.
