214. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the additional funding that will be made available to the Health Service Executive, HSE, for section 39 organisations' pay restoration in view of the fact that pay cuts were imposed following 2009 funding cuts from the HSE; the decisions taken regarding section 39 organisations in the discussions around pay restoration; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue raised by the Deputy is a matter for my colleague the Minister for Health to consider in the first instance as the organisations in question come within the purview of the Department of Health in respect of the matters referred to.
