212. Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government his plans to allocate funding to Monaghan County Council to purchase a park (details supplied) as a heritage site; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22699/17]

I have no function in this matter. The provision of funding to local authorities for specific purposes rests with the appropriate Minister, in this case the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
