Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the reason he did not inform the Taoiseach regarding the former Garda Commissioner's legal strategy in a case (details supplied) in view of the fact that he knew that the Taoiseach had provided incorrect information to Dáil Éireann on the 14 and 15 of November 2017 and that fact that he was told of this strategy on 13 November 2017; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
