Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his Department has investigated an alternative drug testing device for roadside testing as the current device does not function at temperatures below 4°C; if his attention and the attention of An Garda Síochána was drawn to this issue when the contract to supply these devices was awarded; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
