315. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the progress to date in the determination of an application for jobseeker's allowance in the case of a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13077/18]
View answerThe person concerned made an application for jobseekers allowance with effect from 21/2/18. The person concerned subsequently submitted a doctor’s note covering the period 22/2/18 to 22/3/18. During this period the person concerned will not qualify for a jobseekers allowance payment as he does not satisfy the qualifying criteria. The person concerned should contact the local Intreo Centre to clarify his circumstances and progress an application for jobseekers allowance with effect from 23/3/18.
