Deputy Kathleen Funchion asked the Minister for Education and Skills if his attention has been drawn to the case of a person (details supplied) who was unable to complete the leaving certificate examinations; if there is a provision to resit the examinations for students who miss the leaving certificate examinations due to exceptional circumstances without the necessity to repeat the entire year or wait a year to do so; and if he will consider this case for such.
