Deputy Kathleen Funchion asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will consider the proposal to amend the leaving certificate examination grading system to award bonus points to students who study the T1 specification for leaving certificate in order to encourage students to choose this specification in view of the fact that there is no advantage to the students to do the T1 specification; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
