View answerThe formal procurement process to select a company who will roll out a new high speed broadband network within the State Intervention Area under the National Broadband Plan (NBP) is in its final stages. The Intervention Area is depicted as Amber on my Department’s High Speed Broadband Map available at www.broadband.gov.ie. The procurement process will identify the level of subsidy being sought by the bidder to support the roll out, operation and maintenance of the high speed broadband network in the State intervention area.
