View answerThe person concerned made an application for a Supplementary Welfare Allowance Basic payment. As she is a full-time student and is not participating in the Back to Education Scheme the application was disallowed under the Social Welfare (Consolidation) Act Section 190(1). The person concerned is in receipt of a maintenance payment from Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI).
I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
