642. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the correct monetary payment due to a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [50125/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned made an application for a Supplementary Welfare Allowance Basic payment. As she is a full-time student and is not participating in the Back to Education Scheme the application was disallowed under the Social Welfare (Consolidation) Act Section 190(1). The person concerned is in receipt of a maintenance payment from Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI).
I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
