82. Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media the amount of funding announced in budget 2021 for her Department which is to be made available or spent before 31 December 2020. [31983/20]
View answerThe 2021 Budget Estimates provide for an allocation of just under €1.082bn for the sectors supported by my Department in 2021. In addition, provision is made for the following additional expenditure in 2020:
- €1.9m in supplementary funding for TG4 to support public sector broadcasting through the medium of Irish; and
- €1m to enhance the provision of 3rd level courses at home and abroad through the medium of Irish and Irish language technology projects.
