View answerThe military authorities advise that Air Corps Aircraft Mechanic apprenticeships are provided for new entrants to the Defence Forces and these apprenticeships entail both ‘on the job’ training and formal education.
Trainee Technician schemes are also available to serving personnel and these are conducted in conjunction with SOLAS under the auspices of the National ‘Generation Apprenticeship’ Scheme.
