Deputy Gary Gannon asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science if his Department has data on the practice of higher education institutions running non-accredited courses; if so, if he will provide same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Higher Education Institutions are autonomous bodies and are responsible for their own day-to-day management and operational affairs including in relation to their academic affairs and the development of their educational offerings.
