177. Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if his Department has adopted the Workplace Relations Commission Code of Conduct on the Right to Disconnect; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [53809/21]
View answerMy Department will introduce a blended working policy in April 2022, in line with the time-frame agreed by Government.
The purpose of this Departmental policy will be to facilitate an appropriate degree of remote working, balanced with regular attendance at the workplace, within a formalised structure which supports the business needs of the Department. The policy will be developed in line with the Code of Practice on the Right to Disconnect.
My Department promotes and supports staff wellbeing through a range of workplace wellbeing initiatives and a healthy work-life balance is encouraged as part of that.
