Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications if the inquiry into Inland Fisheries Ireland has been completed; if he has received a copy of the report; if he will publish the report when completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerI have appointed Mr. Conleth Bradley Senior Counsel, under Section 18 of the Inland Fisheries Act 2010, (which section is entitled “Removal of Members from Office”, members being members of the Board of IFI) to carry out an independent review of the exercise by the Board of its functions under the Act.
The completion of a report of the Section 18 review and submission to me is a matter for Mr. Bradley. I have not yet received the report.
