Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Justice if her Department has spent money or sought external assistance with Departmental, Ministerial public relations; and if so, the cost; and the name of the agencies, consultants and companies involved in each of the past ten years and to date in 2022, in tabular form. I wish to advise the Deputy that my Department has not incurred any cost in relation to the provision of Departmental or Ministerial public relations services since 2012. It is my Department's policy to use in house resources as much as possible and to minimise the use of external consultants.
