I am pleased to advise the deputy that the school in question has received approval for a building project under the Department's Additional School Accommodation (ASA) Scheme, which has been devolved for delivery to the Board of Management for the school. The brief for this project provides for 1 x 121.5m2 ASD class & 1 x 80m2 Classroom and the project is currently at Stage 2b (Planning Stage) of architectural design.
A submission by the school in respect of the matter referred to by the deputy has raised some questions and is currently being reviewed by the Professional & Technical Team within the Department.
Following completion of this review an update will be issued by my Department to the Board of Management for the school.
