Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if, in light of the fact that in 2018 an organisation (details supplied) published beef carcass conformation data for 2015, 2016 and 2017, he will furnish the corresponding data for 2018 to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerMy Department publishes an annual report each year on Beef Carcase Classification and Price Reporting.
All reports up to and including 2023, are available on the Departments website at;
gov.ie - EU Beef Carcase Classification Scheme (www.gov.ie).
These reports give a detailed annual overview of beef carcass classification results, by category of animal, for all cattle slaughtered in the 33 factories that classify beef.
