View answerThe applicant referred to by the deputy was awarded a provisional allocation in 2022 of €300,000 under the 2020 Round of the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme (SCEP). In line with the standard terms and conditions of the SCEP, it was necessary for the club to provide certain documentation before formal approval could issue. This included quotations for the work in question, tax clearance certificates. I am pleased to say that all of the outstanding documentation was recently provided by the applicant and formal approval issued from my Department on 21 July 2023.
