222. Deputy Joe Flaherty asked the Minister for Transport the reason a driver (details supplied) has been left waiting 13 months to be called for his tractor driving test. [55075/23]

Minister of State at the Department of Transport

Under the Road Safety Authority Act 2006, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) has statutory responsibility for the National Driver Testing Service. This includes application and scheduling matters. I have therefore referred the question to the RSA for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response is not received within 10 days.
