The Oireachtas Library has completed the digitisation of all parliamentary Bills from the foundation of the State in 1922 to 1996. More than 600,000 pages from 107 bound volumes were digitised as part of the project.
Digital copies of the Bills are available on the Library’s online catalogue. Researchers can now see the different versions of Bills, as initiated and as they were amended after each Stage of debate in the Houses of the Oireachtas.
Bills from 1997 onwards are available in digital form in the Bills & Acts section of this website. In future, the Bills from 1922 to 1996 will also be available on this website.
