The Joint Committee on European Union Affairs is calling on all citizens to share their views on the Future of Europe.
Following the decision of one Member State to leave, Europe has reached a critical juncture in its history. At the same time, the other 27 Member States have started a process aimed at renewing the European Union and maximising the opportunities for its citizens.
The White Paper on the Future of Europe, presented by the European Commission on 1 March 2017, presents five possible directions for the EU’s future. The Joint Committee on European Affairs wants members of the public to read the White Paper and give their opinions on these five possible paths, as well as alternative ideas.
All views submitted will be considered in a report of the Committee, planned to be published before the end of the year.
