Science Week Ireland is from 12 to 19 November, and we have prepared a lesson plan that focuses on the science of opinion polls.
The lesson plan is designed to help leaving certificate students of politics and society to understand how opinion polls are constructed and how to analyse and interpret them.
Students will learn what people need to consider when evaluating public opinion polls, how to examine how polling is conducted and how to analyse current polls.
