The Oireachtas Library & Research Service is exhibiting copies of the modern Constitution of Ireland and its predecessor in the display case in Leinster House.
The documents are early reprints of the modern Constitution of Ireland, Bunreacht na hÉireann, and its predecessor, the 1922 Constitution of the Free State.
This month marks 80 years since Bunreacht na hÉireann/Constitution of Ireland came into force following a plebiscite (referendum) on 1 July 1937.
