The presentation of a portrait of Countess de Markievicz to the House of Commons, which was scheduled to take place today, has been postponed due to the status red weather warning.
The Ceann Comhairle, Seán Ó Fearghaíl will present the portrait to the Rt Hon John Bercow MP, Speaker of the House of Commons, at a future date. Countess de Markievicz was the first woman elected to the House of Commons.
