Two Oireachtas Committees have today published separate reports on child and family homelessness.
The Joint Committee on Children and Youth Affairs Report on the Impact of Homelessness on Children, follows detailed consideration of the impact of homelessness on children, involving numerous submissions and presentations. The report makes a number of recommendations on how the impact on children and young people could be alleviated in the short and long term.
The Joint Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government report, entitled Family and Child Homelessness, makes a number of recommendations on the provision of housing for children and families.
