The Irish flag was raised outside Leinster House today, International Workers’ Day, in honour of frontline workers.
The event followed an initiative by the Thomas Meagher Foundation, which promotes pride in and respect for the Irish flag.
Everyone who took part in the ceremony did so in a manner which adheres fully to the social distancing guideline and travel restrictions currently in place by the HSE and the Government of Ireland.
