The Ceann Comhairle, Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl, and Cathaoirleach, Senator Mark Daly, have led the ceremony of lighting the Christmas tree on Leinster Lawn, an event that has become the traditional start of the festive season in the Houses of the Oireachtas.
The event saw entertainment provided by the Rathfarnham Ukulele Group and SeaSharps acappella group.
