Centenary of the inauguration of Irish Free State marked by event on Leinster Lawn

A ceremony on Leinster Lawn has marked the coming into existence of the Irish Free State 100 years ago.

The Ceann Comhairle made a speech and the event was attended by both Houses of the Oireachtas staff and political personnel.
