The Houses of the Oireachtas enjoyed another successful night at the annual Social Media Awards, taking home awards for work on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, as well as the service's social media strategy.
The social media team brought home a gold award for its use of Twitter and silver for its use of both Facebook and Instagram. It also brought home a bronze award for its social media strategy. The awards were all made in categories for state organisations.
The Houses of the Oireachtas social media team has taken home nine gold awards since 2018 from the Social Media Awards. The current team for the Houses is Jason Kiernan, Niamh Harmon and Mark Doyle.
