The Oireachtas Committee on Budgetary Oversight will hear from Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe tomorrow, Thursday, 1 October, as part of its pre-budget engagement.
Minister Donohoe will appear before the Committee at Leinster House, Committee Room 4 at 1pm.
Speaking before the Committee, Chair, Neasa Hourigan TD said: “Details of Budget 2021 are expected to be announced in less than two weeks, on Tuesday, 13 October. This pre-Budget session with the Minister is a welcome opportunity for the Committee to discuss the Budget strategy and the important budgetary decisions being made against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic and the exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union.”
