Representatives from Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland will attend the Oireachtas Committee on Jobs, Social Protection and Education tomorrow, 22nd February, to discuss a number of issues and initiatives around promoting entrepreneurship.
Chairman of the Committee Deputy Damien English said: “Tomorrow the Committee will meet with representatives from Enterprise Ireland and the IDA to look at ways of promoting entrepreneurship. Business start-ups will play a key role in creating jobs and reducing unemployment, so we are looking forward to our meeting to ascertain the key factors that drive entrepreneurs to set up and grow businesses. We will also consider the conditions and policies that are required in terms of education, regulation, information, finance, tax and infrastructure to promote and encourage entrepreneurial activity.”
This meeting will take place on Wednesday, 22nd February in Committee Room 3, Leinster House 2000 at 9.30am.
