Sub-Committee to consider Revised Estimates for Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources

Minister Pat Rabbitte TD will tomorrow morning attend a meeting of the Select Sub-Committee on Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.

The meeting will allow Sub-Committee Members to question the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources on the total expenditure and the priority areas for his Department.

Select Sub-Committee Chairman Andrew Doyle TD says: “Tomorrow’s meeting is part of an initiative to facilitate the work of Dáil Éireann and its Select Committees in holding Ministers and their Departments to account for the proposed allocation of public funds.

“Minister Rabbitte’s presence at tomorrow’s meeting allows the Sub-Committee to consider the 2012 revised estimates for public services for the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.”

The Select Sub-Committee meeting takes place tomorrow 6 June 2012 at 10 am in Committee Room 1 LH 2000.
