The Select Committee on Members Interests of Dáil Éireann having been requested to examine the issues raised by the Statement of Deputy Mick Wallace that he knowingly made a false VAT declaration to the Revenue Commissioners in respect of M & J Wallace Ltd., met again in Private Session on today, Wednesday 27 June 2012.
The Committee, having received certain information from Deputy Wallace will again write to him seeking clarification on some aspects of his response. The Committee is hopeful that it can reach a conclusion at its next meeting which is expected to take place next week.
